Experience
Ian’s career spans leadership roles across advertising, digital consultancy, and technology startups. He previously served as Digital Communications Director at Ogilvy & Mather, where he established the agency’s digital consultancy practice. He went on to launch and successfully exit his own digital consultancy, Bright Spark Digital, and later founded Filmily, a pioneering AI startup operating in the sports and music engagement space.
Currently, alongside his advisory role at Jefferson Locke, Ian is the co-founder of Mployify—an education-to-employment platform aimed at equipping the next generation with workplace-ready skills, particularly supporting neurodiverse individuals. He also serves as a commercial consultant for emerging ventures in the digital and emotional intelligence arenas.
Ian holds a combined degree in Economics and Sociology from Royal Holloway and the London School of Economics. His strategic insight and entrepreneurial drive continue to fuel Jefferson Locke’s mission to integrate digital innovation into leadership development, M&A, and organisational design initiatives across global markets.
