Nicola Fish is a senior brand and strategy leader with over two decades of experience shaping how businesses define, express and evolve their brands. Having spent her career within independent, ideas-driven agencies, she brings a rare combination of commercial acumen, creative curiosity and human empathy to every engagement.
Her approach is rooted in deep listening uncovering the truths that sit beneath the brief and translating them into strategic and creative foundations that move brands and people alike. She thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity and culture, guiding leadership teams through moments of transformation with clarity, confidence and care.
Nicola spent several years as Strategy Director at 7DOTS, where she also sat on the leadership team with responsibility for purpose, culture and the internal brand. During her tenure she delivered global strategy programmes across sectors ranging from infrastructure and insurance to SaaS and financial services, working with clients including John Laing, SHL, Miller, Cosegic and Taisho.
Her time at 7DOTS also saw her create the agency’s proprietary strategic framework, White Space Listening — a methodology born from her belief in listening harder, looking further and finding the human insight in every brief. Previously, as Client Services Director, she built and led the agency’s client experience function from the ground up, establishing new processes, mentoring a team, and redefining how the agency delivered partnership and trust.
Before joining 7DOTS, Nicola held senior leadership roles at Earnest (London) and Fox Parrack Singapour, where she led teams, grew global accounts and drove award-winning work for brands including Kaspersky Lab, Twitter, WorldPay, and Living Bridge. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade with Base One Group, leading strategic client relationships with British Gas and other blue-chip B2B brands, and shaping integrated campaigns across digital, brand, and direct marketing.
Beyond her commercial work, Nicola is an active mentor and an advocate for gender equality in the workplace. She founded the Women’s Forum at 7DOTS, a safe space for open conversation and progress, and continues to support emerging talent across the marketing and creative industries.
